Service Advisor, West London

Competitive Salary of £16,000.00 – £22,000.00 OTE £30,000.00 (dependent on experience)

Progress Recruitment Solutions (UK) Ltd is looking to recruit a Service Advisor for our Main Dealer in the Greater London Area.

To work for part of a large reputable group in the UK we are looking for Service Advisor who is able to maintain the high standards expected by our automotive client and their customers, and who takes exceptional pride in their work.

To rise to the challenge, you will need to hold recent volume main dealership experience within the last 2yrs. Applicants are required to live within reasonable commuting distance of the West London area, and to be able to work under pressure, be competent both working in a team and alone efficiently, and should be enthusiastic with a 'can-do' approach.
As part of our Client's main car dealership aftersales team you will be responsible for:
-meeting and greeting customers coming into the service department
-booking in vehicles, arranging alternative transport as and when required
-workshop loading
-liaising with the workshop and customer
-providing quotations
-advising the customer on any repair issues and costs, gaining authority for any additional work
-upselling additional work, service plans and warranties
-ensuring all vehicles are ready for collection as agreed
-invoicing, arranging and taking payment

The ideal candidate will:
- have a minimum of 12 months' recent Franchised Main Dealer Service Advisor experience (a must)
- have knowledge of the Kerridge system and RTC
- have a proven track record in target achievement and upsell
- have a history of job stability
- be able to demonstrate excellent customer skills
- be able to communicate effectively at all levels
