Our client a thriving dealer group in the area are looking for an experienced General Manager/ Dealer Principal with a proven and stable track record of dealership management.

As a General Manager your main role is to provide leadership and inspiration for the companies employees. Working within the West Yorkshire based dealership you will represent a successful and prestigious brand where their employees and the service that they provide are crucial to their success therefore our client is looking for a Manager with the experience and ability to develop and manage the sales and aftersales teams to achieve the highest standards possible.

The successful candidate will be experienced in implementing processes and procedures to maximise profits and ensuring the dealership operates efficiently whilst adhering to manufacturer standards.

It is essential that you have a detailed understanding and current and relevant experience of the retail motor industry at the highest level

as well as within a large site

. You will have practical skills, experience and knowledge of modern motor industry processes and practices with up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices including Trade Description, Consumer Protection and Consumer Credit Laws.

Professional qualifications and membership of the I.M.I. are an advantage.
